The Flying Horse - Newspaper

I just opened the MxCC’s Flying Horse blog. I hope it becomes the network it was made to be. Digital .pdf copies of past issues are available on The Flying Horse blog and by clicking the images below.

From a graphic standpoint, the third issue is much more different then the prior issues. The great Eric Mielke took over the laying out enterprise, and the visual style took a hit. The corporate approach will leave the next generations with an easier template to manage and update. I've made these few graphics for this issue, most of which made it in. The newsprint will be available on campus on the last day of finals, Monday. You should all pick up a copy to read over the summer, I have been told that the articles are the best the paper has ever printed.

Henri

Today we made use of Mr. Henri, the devil/deer/rubber monster-head, and all went well. It wasn’t too cold for the model, it wasn’t too dark for the camera, and Josh was able to breath with the mask on. Between every shot we had to take the prop off Josh’s head. Being in the darkness, barely able to breath, he would stand still, stand strong.
